THE FALLEN

Justice-seeking invisible entities, ex-erthfolk who agreed a deathbed deal to join a protection unit in the skies. They track-trace criminals, supply anonymous tip-offs to law agencies, dish tough karma, and protect the underdog. However, they’re not perfect. They don’t like rules, have sex in the skies, kill more than they save, and allow complex family drama to take their eye off the ball. They were only human once.

THE WITNESSES

Also invisible entities, ex-erthfolk who’ve ended up below ground working in competition with the fallen and cleaning up the dross of society. Soul-scavengers found at deathbeds, places of ill repute, and crime scenes. They encourage temptation and bad choices to increase their soul count and win the numbers game.

THE ERTH UNIT

Brave vigilante mix of crime-fighting erthfolk. Ex-cons, MI6, and police, who’ve lost faith in their justice system. They have no idea their planet is about to change, nor that invisible entities walk among them, until...

THE KNITESHIFTERS

Erthfolk. When sleeping they leave their body to help other dimensions, planets, races. On waking, often exhausted, they have no memory of their other life. Also known as erth-angels.

Invisible entities who follow all of the above and report back to elders on the progress of their planet erth experiment.
